Personalised Family Trip Planning

Let Me Help You Plan Your Trip

Planning a trip with kids sounds simple… until you actually start doing it. Where to stay, how long in each place, what's actually worth doing. It adds up quickly.

Personalised to your family · Limited availability

Planning as a family is genuinely hard.

We've been through all of it ourselves - figuring things out as we went, making mistakes, changing plans, and slowly working out what actually works when you're travelling as a family.

  • Too many options with no clear way to compare them
  • Itineraries that look great online but fall apart with tired kids
  • Second-guessing every decision before you've booked anything
  • Generic plans that don't account for how your family actually travels
If you'd rather skip a lot of that and just have a clear plan that makes sense for your trip, this is where I can help.

Not a perfect itinerary. A real one.

This isn't about building something that looks impressive on paper. It's about building something that actually works in real life, with kids, on the ground.

Slowing things down so it's not exhausting
Choosing the right areas to stay - not just what looks central
Avoiding overpacked days that fall apart
Mixing key activities with genuine downtime
Knowing what's actually worth doing vs what to skip
Getting around without the guesswork

No generic plans. No copy-paste routes. Just something that fits your trip.

How it works

01
Planning Call

We jump on a call and go through your trip - where you're going, how long you have, what you want it to feel like, and what matters most to your family.

02
Your Travel Plan

I put together a clear, personalised itinerary based on everything we discussed. This isn't a template - it's built around your specific trip.

  • Day-by-day structure (realistic, not rushed)
  • Where to stay (areas + recommendations)
  • Things to do (what's actually worth it)
  • How to get around
  • Tips to avoid common mistakes
03
Review & Final Plan

We go through it together, make any tweaks, and you get a final version you can actually follow. You leave with a plan you're confident in before you book a thing.

Leave with a plan you trust.

A realistic itinerary that works with kids
Confidence before you book anything
No wasted time on routes that don't make sense
Someone who's actually been there, guiding you

What people are saying

I'd been trying to plan our Colombia trip for three months. Two calls and a few days later I had a day-by-day plan that actually made sense. I didn't realise how much I was overcomplicating it until someone just laid it out clearly.

We were going back and forth on Peru vs Ecuador for weeks. The planning call sorted it in 20 minutes. We went to Peru, the itinerary was brilliant, and we didn't waste a single day on somewhere not worth it with two under-fives in tow.

Worth every dollar and then some. We'd already made a mess of our first Costa Rica trip trying to do too much. This time the pace was just right - the kids actually enjoyed it instead of being dragged from place to place. The accommodation picks were spot on.

I'm a solo mum so I really needed to feel confident before I got on that plane. The plan covered everything I was anxious about - which areas were safe, how to get from the airport, what to do on day one when you're exhausted. Panama was honestly perfect.

We're experienced travellers but Latin America felt different with a toddler. The plan gave us structure without killing the spontaneity. We ended up staying an extra two nights in Cartagena because we loved it - that felt fine because the rest of the plan was rock solid.

I nearly didn't do it because I thought I could figure it out myself. I'm glad I didn't. Ecuador is trickier than it looks on a map and the routing advice alone saved us a genuinely horrible bus journey. Would use this service again without thinking twice.

Is this right for you?

This works best if you're travelling with kids, planning a longer or multi-stop trip, or just feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the options.

It's also for anyone who wants a bit of reassurance that their plan actually makes sense before committing to flights and accommodation. If you've been going back and forth on the same decisions for weeks, that's a good sign this is worth it.

You don't need this.

You can absolutely plan your trip yourself. Plenty of families do, and plenty of those trips go brilliantly.

But if you'd rather save the time, avoid a few of the common mistakes, and not second-guess every decision along the way - this makes things a lot easier. We're not selling confidence for its own sake. We're selling hours back and fewer regrets on arrival.

Real comments. Real results.

Just got back from 2.5 weeks in Peru with the kids (7 & 9) and I have to say - best trip we've ever done 🙌

We used the personalised planning service here and it was genuinely the thing that made the difference. The itinerary was realistic, the accommodation recommendations were all brilliant, and we never had one of those awful "what do we do now" moments.

If you're on the fence, just do it. Honestly. The call alone is worth it.

We had the same experience in Colombia!! The routing advice especially - we would have done the whole thing backwards without it 😂 So glad you loved it!

Has anyone used the trip planning service for Costa Rica? We've got 3 weeks and 4 kids aged 4–12 and I genuinely don't know where to start with the logistics.

Yes!! Did it for Costa Rica last year with 3 kids. The planning call alone sorted so many things I'd been agonising over. Which side of the country to base in, how to handle the driving, where to stay near the volcano - all of it just resolved in one conversation.

3 weeks with 4 kids is definitely complex enough to be worth it Pete. The routing alone - you can waste so much time doubling back in Costa Rica if you get the order wrong.

Pete - Costa Rica with that age range is one of our favourites to plan. Sophie and Natasha are spot on about the routing. Drop us a message and we can chat through it 🙌

Quick shoutout to the planning service we used for our Ecuador trip last month 🇪🇨

We're not first-timers - we've done a lot of travel - but with two kids under 6 it felt like a different game entirely. The plan they put together was brilliant. Not too rushed, not too loose. The Quilotoa Loop was flagged as "doable with kids if you take it slow" and that was exactly right.

The honest advice (what to skip, what's overhyped) was what made it for us.

The "what to skip" advice is SO underrated. We were told Machu Picchu was doable with our 7-year-old and it was, but only because the plan built in a rest day before. That kind of thinking makes all the difference 🙏

Greg and Hannah - this is everything!! The Quilotoa Loop with little ones is magic when you take it slow. So glad it worked 🌋 Sounds like an incredible trip.

Genuine question - is the planning service worth it if you've already got a rough idea of where you want to go? We have Cartagena + Medellin mapped out, just not sure about the in-between bits and logistics.
LikeReply3 days ago

That's actually exactly what we had Anna - a rough skeleton. The planning service filled in all the bits we hadn't thought about. Day pacing, where to stay in each city, how to get between them without losing a full day. Definitely worth it.

Anna - honestly that's a great starting point. Cartagena + Medellin is a classic pairing. The "in-between bits" is often where trips go wrong or right. Drop us a message and we can see if it's a fit 😊

Quick answers

How detailed is the itinerary?

It's structured enough to follow, but flexible enough to adjust. You'll know what to do each day without feeling locked into a strict plan. Think of it as a clear default you can deviate from whenever you want.

Do you book anything for us?

No - flights, hotels, and activities are all yours to book. I give you the plan and the recommendations; you make the bookings in your own time, at your own pace.

Which destinations do you cover?

This service is currently limited to Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, and Costa Rica - destinations we know properly, not ones we've just read about.

Can this work for shorter trips?

Yes, but it's most useful for longer or multi-stop trips where planning gets complicated. If you're doing a single city for four nights, you probably don't need this. If you're doing three countries in two weeks, you probably do.

A few things to know

  • This service covers trips within Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, and Costa Rica only.
  • Trips should be less than three weeks long and ideally planned at least one month in advance.
  • This is a planning service only - all bookings (flights, accommodation, activities) are your responsibility.
  • Due to the time involved, payments are non-refundable once the planning call has taken place or work has started.

Stop going back and forth. Let's sort it.

A clear plan that actually works. Everything else gets easier from there.
